About Emma Brown & Dr. Ari Aal

Emma’s mission is to guide children, adolescents and adults through their mental and emotional journeys. After her nurse practitioner training at Yale, she went on to complete a Child and Adolescent fellowship at SUNY in Syracuse, New York. Emma is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring she offers evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual’s unique challenges. She is known for combining academic rigor with compassion and a bubbly personality. Emma’s multi-model methodology ensures a holistic understanding of every challenge, taking into account family, school, and community influences.

Dr. Aal is a Denver native and Psychiatrist with an interest in the novel and Avante Garde treatments. He enrolled in medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue his lifelong interests in combining the philosophy of mind, art, and the biological sciences. Prior to founding Delos Psychiatry, Dr. Aal served as Chief Resident at the largest private psychiatry hospital in Colorado. While there, he won three consecutive awards for exceptionally high Psychiatry in-service test scores (99th percentile). In addition, he was a board member of the Colorado Psychiatric Society and helped advocate for better Colorado mental health policy.
